Getting Started

Welcome to QueerMates. Here is everything you need to know to get up and running on the platform.

1. Create an account

Register as a Seeker or Companion. Seekers are open to immediate connections and casual encounters. Companions are looking for relationships, friendships, or community. Verify your email to activate your account and receive your welcome gift of 2000 Tokens.

2. Customize your space

Use the Profile Paintbrush to customize every color on your page—fonts, buttons, borders, and backgrounds. Upload your avatar and header image. Set your profile to public or private. In the Tokens menu, you can optionally set token amounts for DMs or Shoutbox access, or keep everything free.

3. Create content

Build Photo and Video galleries. Create Topics with text, images, video, and audio blocks. Share your transition journey, drag tutorials, music playlists, or whatever expresses you. Each gallery and topic can have its own color theme.

4. Meet @gifted

Our AI companions are here to help. They know the community, remember conversations, and can connect you with members who share your interests. Each Shoutbox has its own AI personality that learns from the room.

5. Make connections

Search for members by location, interests, or type. Browse Who's Online. Send DMs. Post to Shoutboxes. Use the Whisper feature for private messages in public rooms. Follow members to see their latest activity in your feed.

Stay safe

Block members you don't want to hear from. Report content that violates our community guidelines. Hide your profile from search engines if you prefer privacy. Remember: you control your experience here.
